Meet ATR

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.

Kimberly Coit is a registered nurse who earned her bachelor of science degree at Sojourner Douglass College. She has over 25 years of experience in dialysis and has dedicated the last 12 years in overseeing care of the elderly population at long term care facilities throughout Baltimore, MD. She recently returned to dialysis as a charge nurse. She is fully invested in caring for those that are unable to care for themselves. Having a mother that was recently diagnosed with dementia has made her fully understand the meaning of caring for someone whom appreciates everything that you do for them.

She and co-owner Toni Lilly chose to invest in opening Above the Rest Homecare, LLC to be able to provide clients with care that will stand out above the rest. She knows how she wants her mother to receive exceptional care, therefore that same care will be provided given to their clients. She is a strong leader with great communication and teamwork among other nurses and staff. Residents under her care receive education to fully understand their care. Her goal is to make sure that those individuals that need daily assistance with daily living receive it with dignity and the utmost respect.

Founded on ___ and ___ , Above the Rest Home Care began out of an innate desire to help those who could not help themselves. For eight years Toni Lilly worked as a correctional officer at Patuxent Institution and was exposed to many people who were in need of care, both physically and mentally and though she had the pull and inclination, that position did not allot her the opportunity to help as she wanted. This reignited a call that had been there all along, being a nurse. So as a wife and mother of two, Toni made the decision to return to school to pursue her degree in nursing. Working and going to school full time was no small feat but it ___ (how it is helpful to nursing)

With __ years of experience, Toni has worked in adult day care, home health care, nursing homes and long-term care which has afforded her experience, the ability to work with compassion and an adaptability to diverse situations. Toni recalls one of the most rewarding experiences being the restorative value of health care, when she can help clients achieve their goals of returning to their communities and staying there. Above the Rest seeks not only to bring comfort and assistance but to also successfully rehabilitate with love, respect and quality care.
